JD Smith

J.D. Smith is a veteran personal injury attorney based in Mercer Island, Washington. Prior to and during law school J.D. worked as a claims adjuster and underwriter. J.D. has tried fifty-nine civil cases to verdict and completed over one hundred arbitrations. He is passionate about working with children and supporting local arts. J.D. is a former member of the ABA House of Delegates and a former President of the WSBA Young Lawyers Division. J.D. is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a regular instructor with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA).
