I have been practicing workers’ compensation for over 30+ years. I began for an insurance defense firm before starting my own practice. As a defense attorney for multiple workers’ compensation insurance companies I was able to see first hand what insurance companies do with your claim. What they seek to do is pay out as little as possible and close the file as soon as possible. Obviously that is not necessarily in your best interest. I see my role as guiding you through the process to put you in the best position should a claim have to be filed on your behalf. Since I have been on my own my practice no longer represents insurance companies but rather I represent injured workers like yourself. I can give you the perspective of what the insurer will likely do with your case. Cases are fluid and depend on may factors, such as what your doctor is saying, what an IME doctor opines about your disability, what a judge does with your case at the conference level and what an impartial doctor says after examining you between a conference and a hearing. You need assistance in navigating the process and that’s what I do for you. Visit my website 413WorkersComp.com or call me at 413/225-8884.
