Jaclyn M. Martin
Massachusetts
Attorney Martin joined the firm in 2015. She was born in Lowell and resides in Chelmsford. She was recruited to the law firm with experience in Human Resources and State and Federal Government Program Administration. Her five years of experience in Section 8 Voucher administration as a Leased Housing Coordinator at the Somerville Housing Authority has helped her to develop an appreciation of Landlord – Tenant issues, as well as a strong understanding of Federal and State Housing laws. This immersion has positioned her to support clients in all aspects of housing and real estate law. Further, her experiences have exposed Attorney Martin to our senior population and their unique concerns with Housing, Health Insurance (Medicare Medicaid and MassHealth), Social Security, End of Life Planning and other Elder Care related issues, motivating her to focus on supporting seniors and their families. Attorney Martin interned with and worked for the law firm for more than a year before being signing on as an attorney and her work has included research supporting Housing Authorities and joint public-private non-profit corporations developing housing projects to comply with the Department of Housing and Community Development Chapter 40B subsidized Housing inventory. Attorney Martin has also assisted in criminal defense under the Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 Certification, in which she actively participated in the representation of clients throughout the entire court process from arraignments to trials.
