Attorney Gregory A. Schwartz is a native of Hays and lifelong Kansan, and is proud to be working and raising his family in the community where he himself grew up. After graduating from Washburn University School of Law in 2000, Greg returned to Hays to practice. His many practice areas include family law, criminal defense, and business and contract law. He enjoys getting to know his clients, developing an understanding of their legal concerns, and working with them to design a plan to achieve their goals. Greg’s focus is on doing what will achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. He is skilled at negotiating favorable settlements, and considers his litigation skills his greatest strength. Greg has extensive courtroom experience, and has volunteered his services to area courts as appointed counsel on felonies occurring in Northwest Kansas. He has been appointed to the Northwest Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority Board and to the Northwest Kansas Community Corrections board from the city of Hays. When not practicing law, Greg is deeply involved in community activities. He was elected to the U.S.D. 489 Board of Education in 2007 and has served three terms. He has also served as President of the U.S.D. 489 Foundation for Educational Excellence. He and his wife Christy live in Hays with their three sons.
