Michael D. Hills

Michael Hills is a graduate of Michigan State University School of Law where he graduated with a cum laude distinction. After graduation, he was a law clerk for Circuit Court Judge Harry A. Beach in Allegan County. After serving his year clerkship for Judge Beach Mr. Hills opened his own practice in Kalamazoo Michigan. Mr. Hills experience runs the gamut of the criminal spectrum. He has handled numerous murder cases as well as a multitude of minor in possession of alcohol charges and everything in between, including both state and federal charges. Mr. Hills has extensive experience handling cases before formal charges are filed and also through trial and through the appeals process. Michael D. Hills’ practice is limited to criminal defense but the Hills Law Firm is dedicated to protecting people who have been accused of committing a criminal offense in the southwestern Michigan area. Including, Drunk Driving and other Driving Offenses, DUI, DWI, OWI, OWVI, OWPD. Michigan Drivers License Restoration, Drug Offenses, Sex Crimes and Criminal Sexual Conduct, Federal Cases, White Collar Crimes, and Expungement Crimes Michael Hills is an active member of the Kalamazoo Trial Lawyers Association and was the president from 2002 – 2004. Mr. Hills is also on the Kalamazoo Bar Association’s Board, Super Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan.
