Ellen’s practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, and general business matters. Ellen works with individuals and families to advise and draft estate plans to meet their needs, including planning for family members with special needs. She also enjoys helping clients who are starting their own business or are adding to their existing business. In her estate practice Ellen focuses on helping clients put together all of the documents necessary not only to manage their assets after death but to provide options in the event of incapacity. She has a wide range of experience in drafting Wills, Trusts, Financial Powers of Attorney and health care documents, including Living Wills and Health Care Powers of Attorney. In her business practice she has counseled numerous small to mid-sized companies from their initial start-up through succession planning. She advises and prepares operating agreements for different business entities, including the more complicated agreements necessitated when there are multiple business owners. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and recipient of the 2016 Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 & Under (Ohio State Bar Foundation).
