Mr. Goble is a trial attorney in civil litigation and criminal defense. He has litigated over 100 criminal and civil cases to juries. Mr. Goble graduated with an undergraduate degree in International Political Economy. He also played lacrosse in college. He thereafter obtained his juris doctorate degree while serving as honor court chief justice. He also distinguished himself with multiple regional negotiation and mock trial tournament championships. Mr. Goble worked as a law clerk in Utah’s Third District Court before taking a job with the Salt Lake Legal Defenders. After four years with the legal defenders, Mr. Goble was hired by a prominent civil litigation firm in downtown Salt Lake City. There he litigated cases involving real property disputes, premises and auto liability, construction defect, breach of contract and business law. Mr. Goble then began his own firm, with offices in Logan and Salt Lake City. Mr. Goble has served in various capacities with the Utah State Bar, including as former Chairman of the Criminal Law Division for the Utah State Bar. He also served on the Modest Means Committee in efforts to make access to justice more affordable. He was recognized for Distinguished Service in the Interests of Justice by UACDL. He serves as the President of the Board for the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. He has been recognized in Utah’s 40 under 40 for civil litigation. He has been invited on multiple occasions to make presentations to Utah attorneys in the areas strategies in handling white collar crime allegations in the context of civil litigation, Prosecutor ethics in criminal litigation, strategies in civil discovery, and strategies for exhibits in Jury Trials.
