Chasity Sharp Grice is an attorney in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a native of Tennessee and is admitted to the Bars of Tennessee and Texas. She attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she received her law degree with a concentration in Transactional Tax Planning. Chasity has worked for Certified Public Accounting firms where she focused in estate planning for middle to high net worth families. After working for these firms, she opened her own law practice, where she practiced in the areas of probate, estate planning, and family law. In 2014, she joined the firm of Peppel, Gomes & MacIntosh, P.C. where she focused her practice in the areas of probate, estate planning, and elder law. In 2017, the firm changed its name to Peppel, Grice & Palazzolo, P.C. Chasity regularly accepts court appointments as guardian ad litem and attorney ad litem from the Shelby County probate court judges and is regularly appointed to represent individuals with mental disabilities facing emergency judicial commitments before the Mental Health Court judges. Further, she has served as Substitute Judge for Shelby County Probate Court Judges, Divisions I and II, and Shelby County General Sessions Court Judges. Chasity is a Commissioner with the American Bar Association’s Commission on Law and Aging, a member of the Memphis Bar Association, the Estate Planning and Probate section of the Memphis Bar Association, serves as a member of the Continuing Education Committee of the Tennessee Bar Association. She has recently obtained her LLM degree in Elder law and Estate planning with Western New England School of Law and strives to educate the public about the many resources available to them and their special needs or aging loved ones in order to have the best quality of life possible. She focuses her practice in estate planning, probate and elder law, including conservatorships, estate administration, guardianships, and estate and trust administration.
