Raised in a union household lead by a father that served as President of a National Labor union for decades, there is little reason to understand why I have devoted my professional life to serving and helping one of the most abused among us: those who have suffered a work injury making profits for someone else. That is why I practice exclusively in representing employees in workers’ compensation proceedings with passion for protecting the rights of employees. Simply put: intent matters. Excellence also matters. For the last twenty-four years, I have successfully represented thousands of individuals seeking benefits under the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act. After graduating Vanderbilt University in 1985, I earned my law degree in 1988 from Boston University School of Law. I am a member of the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group, a national organization of lawyers representing injured workers. I am certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensartion Law as authorized by the Pennslvania Supreme COurt. I have served as the Chairman of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation. I lecture frequently on employee rights on behalf of employee organizations and various legal organizations and have aggressively and successfully litigated hundreds of cases on behalf of his clients throughout all levels of the workers’ compensation system, establishing precedent in the Pennsylvania Appellate Courts, including cases of first impression before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. As an advocate of employee rights, I was active in the formation of the Pennsylvania Federation of Injured Workers, and currently serve on their Board of Directors.
