Rubin Guttman
Ohio, 6th Circuit
As the first member of my immigrant family to go to law school or even college, I chose to come to Cleveland from Brooklyn, New York because Cleveland has always been a diverse city of hard-working folks from all backgrounds. My father and my grandfather both knew what it meant to have their freedom and even their lives threatened by the Nazis in Germany and I have devoted my career to representing the ” little guy,” the working man or woman, the injured and the disabled against government, big business and corporations. My goal has always been to be the equalizer and to obtain justice for my clients who might not otherwise get it. At Rubin Guttman and Associates we represent the injured and disabled in personal injury, medical malpractice, Trucking, motorcycle and bicycle accidents and wrongful death claims. Wherever there is an injury or a tragically wrongful death I want to represent that injured party. I am an avid bike rider and I often ride more than 100 miles a week on Cleveland’s city streets. I know firsthand how dangerous an inattentive driver can be and how hostile some drivers and even police can be to someone on a bicycle. So when we represent someone injured when their bicycle is hit by a car, it’s personal! I have always tried to give back to the community and have helped build several schools and educational institutions in the Cleveland area Being a trial lawyer is time-consuming and often means that I work and night and on weekends. And my firm we do what must be done to get justice for our clients. I am proud to say that I have supported in this goal by my wife, Eileen, and our three children, all of whom are now grown and married. To me, there is no higher calling than to obtain justice for my clients
