I believe deeply in the promise of America as a nation of immigrants. Throughout our history, immigrants and refugees from all corners of the world have come to the United States, determined to improve their lives through hard work. In the process, they have made this country a h2 and great nation. We must continue to attract the best and brightest from across the globe for our nation to flourish. Our firm, Hammond Law Group, is dedicated to continuing that dream by diligently representing immigrants and temporary workers from across the globe. In addition to my work at Hammond Law Group, I am an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and past CHAIR of the Ohio chapter. As well, I’m the professor of immigration law at Cleveland State Cleveland Marshall School of Law. Regularly I speak about a variety of immigration related topics to local bar associations. Recently, my talks have included Crimmigration and Immigration Detainers at the Toledo Bar Association, Immigration Consequences of Criminal Convictions at the Lorain County Bar Association, and on two national panels for AILA; Removal Defense at our annual conference and Naturalization at the paralegals conference.
