Mark received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Drew University in 2003, and graduated from the University of the District of Columbia – David A. Clarke School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Mark served as a student advocate in the Juvenile and Special Education Law Clinic as well as the Housing and Consumer Law Clinic where he represented indigent clients. After graduating from law school Mark enjoyed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable James J. Guida, J.S.C., of the Bergen County Superior Court, Family Part. During his clerkship, Mark was responsible for managing Judge Guida’s post-divorce and juvenile motion calendars. Prior to joining Lyons & Associates, P.C., Mark worked for two law firms in the Bergen County area as an associate where he focused primarily on the practice of family law. At Lyons & Associates, P.C., Mark continues to focus solely on family law related matters including but not limited to divorce, adoption, jurisdictional disputes, relocation, domestic violence, custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution. Mark is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Mark is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and is also a graduate of the Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court.
