Harrison A. Lord is the founder and managing member of Lord & Lindley, PLLC. His practice focuses on helping small businesses reduce their risks, collect the money owed them, and plan for a successful future. Harrison represents clients in commercial litigation and disputes of all sorts. In that role, he’s tried cases before judges and juries all over North Carolina. But first and foremost, Harrison is a problem solver. His focus is always on getting the best result for his clients, and helping them find the solution that works for them and their business. Sometimes that means a trial. Oftentimes, though, the best result requires a more creative solution. Whenever possible, Harrison helps his clients make good business decisions, so they can avoid disputes in the first place. Harrison’s received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbard, Business North Carolina has repeatedly named him as among the Legal Elite in both the Litigation and Young Gun categories, and he’s consistently named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star. He was a member of the Charter Class of the North Carolina Bar Association Leadership Academy and the recipient of the 2010-2011 Charles F. Blanchard Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. Harrison served as the 2015-2016 Chair of the Young Lawyers Division. Harrison grew up in Harnett County, North Carolina, before attending high school at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham. He received his A.B. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double majored in Classics and History and was a member of the varsity fencing team. Harrison graduated with honors from the Washington University School of Law, where he received a Scholars in Law merit-based scholarship and served as Associate Editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy. At graduation, Harrison was awarded the Judge John W. Calhoun Trial Practice Award in recognition of his talent for and dedication to trial work.
