Attorney Beverly M. Griffor was first licensed in Michigan and has since become involved in litigation and research nationwide. She diligently represents the interests of each of her clients. Beverly graduated from the University of Michigan with a double majored Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Philosophy. In each major, Beverly sub-concentrated in both Criminology and Social Inequality. She also graduated as a member of honor societies in all three of her concentrations. Beverly received her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law, focusing her studies on trial practice & appellate procedure. After law school, Beverly worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Jackson County in a grant funded position, and moved into private practice when the grant expired. As a private attorney, Beverly has successfully represented clients in criminal and civil trials, negotiated business transactions, real estate deals, and advised clients in a variety of other matters. She prides herself in her professional service and her ability to get her clients the best results possible in their unique situations. Beverly also holds a Masters in Business Administration and uses her business experience to assist her corporate & business clients handle transactional matters, business formation, seeking non-profit status, business planning, purchases, and legal compliance. Beverly is pursuing her PhD degree in Psychology. She is currently working on a study of child testimony. Much of her work focuses on application of scientific research in the courtroom. This blending of law and science is very important in cases such as those involving custody disputes, sentencing, probate capacity, or expert opinions.
