Kimberlee J. Gee
Kimberlee Gee is the Founder and Managing Member of Kimberlee Gee Legal, which is based in Washington, D.C. and Maryland and serves clients nationwide. Prior to founding Kimberlee Gee Legal in 2017, Ms. Gee worked as a Deputy Assistant General Counsel and in-house attorney for a small financial services corporation providing general oversight and execution of the Corporation’s ethics compliance program and providing high-level legal counsel to the Board of Directors and senior leadership officials on employment, personnel and HR compliance matters. Ms. Gee oversaw workplace investigations, trainings and the management of litigation, dispute resolution and individual appeal matters, representing the corporation in a wide range of judicial and administrative employment proceedings. Prior to that, she served as principal representative for a Washington, D.C. association, representing more than 20k+ employees nationwide as lead counsel during arbitration and other administrative and tribunal proceedings, deftly resolving and prevailing on a range of employment and labor law issues pertaining to: discharge and discipline, leave, breach of contract, unfair labor practices and workers compensation. She also oversaw grievance administration, as well as contract management and negotiation of several collective bargaining agreements and settlement agreements. Preceding this position, she worked as a policy analyst and research assistant for a national organization, developing policy data products and drafting white papers on various national labor policies and federal initiatives. Ms. Gee also previously served as an Editor for the Daily Labor Report and Construction Labor Report for Bloomberg BNA (nee Bureau of National Affairs), drafting and editing an expansive range of written products on legal and legislative employment and labor issues.
