Marilyn Emery

As a real estate agent in MD and DC, I specialize in helping long term homeowners downsize and working with executors and adminstrators of estates to navigate the process of liquidating property.  I will be with you every step of the way. 
My years of experience helping people prepare their long time home or property as part of an estate has given me a wealth of connections. I understand each situation is different, so we will work together to develop a personalized plan so you can get from where you are to where you want to be.  I work with entire families as they manage these types of transitions which I understand can be sensitive and emotional. I will help you navigate through the process.
Since becoming a Realtor in 2004 my experiences in real estate, both personally and professionally, helping clients achieve their goals, have given me a broad perspective on how to help you – financially and physically and emotionally.
Marilyn provided me and my three siblings the best guidance as we navigated the cleaning, clearing and sale of my 90 year old father’s home. This was an emotional event for us, and Marilyn offered us a wonderful combination of experienced, clear headed advice as well as a kind and understanding presence.¬† The house sold quickly at a fair price, and the few hassles that arose were handled timely and efficiently by Marilyn.¬†

When I am not working, I enjoy either being outside in my garden, working with my bees, walking in the woods with my dog, and doing photography.
