Bryan J. Chant is an experienced trial attorney vindicating the rights of injured people in Maryland’s courts. He is an alumnus of the William Mitchell College of Law, where he served as an Assistant Editor on the William Mitchell Law Review. Bryan is a Maryland native. While attending the University of Maryland College Park, Bryan served as a volunteer firefighter paramedic for the Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department and a part-time firefighter paramedic for the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. After law school, Bryan worked at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm handling all aspects of automobile liability cases. He also participated in the prosecution of a national product liability case involving over 1000 plaintiffs. Between 2009 and 2016, Bryan was a senior trial attorney and Regional Counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company’s Special Investigative Unit in Minneapolis. Bryan was responsible for handling complex automobile, product liability, and commercial vehicle defenses in state and federal court. In addition, Bryan had the honor of arguing before the Minnesota Supreme Court where he obtained a complete victory for his client. In 2016, Bryan returned home to Maryland where he applies his experience and knowledge of the insurance industry every day to fight for his clients’ right to be treated and compensated fairly.
