Cherie L. McKenna, Esq. is the sole proprietor of the Law Office of Cherie L. McKenna, in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she practices all aspects of family law and provides mediation services in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire Counties. Over one-third of Cherie’s practice is devoted to mediation services, as she enjoys assisting clients to resolution of their differences. Practicing for over 20 years with extensive experience in divorce and family law as well as civil litigation, insurance defense, appellate litigation and criminal defense, Cherie is dedicated to advocating for her clients and working to achieve successful resolution of their conflicts. Cherie is an active member of the Hampden County Bar Association, a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, and has been appointed to the panel of attorneys for the Children’s Law Project of Hampden County, representing the interests of children, acting as their voice in litigated matters. She has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Community Music School in Springfield, MA, assisting with fundraising and strategic planning, and has been a volunteer mentor for the students of West Springfield High School. Cherie received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 1998, and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and the U.S. District Courts for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Cherie received her B.A, summa cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire in 1995. Cherie is also an avid supporter of the arts. She frequents local theater, museum and symphony events with her husband, participates in tap and jazz dance classes in Easthampton, and loves to sing and dance, especially with her daughter. Above all else, Attorney McKenna enjoys the thrills and challenges of raising a child, and is a devoted, loving mother and wife.
