Scott McPherson
Florida, Federal Circuit
This page is to tell you a little about me, as well as to explain some of the reasons my firm and me are highly qualified to handle your claim. My name is Scott McPherson, I was born in St. Petersburg, FL. I have lived in New Port Richey my entire life. My past medical experience has been a very big asset to me as an attorney representing injured clients. Following High School, I decided to first become an EMT, and then a Professional Paramedic. My first job in the medical field was 1983 at Bayonet Point Hospital Emergency Room. A short while later, in 1984, I accepted a position with Pasco County Fire-Rescue, and finished my Paramedic and Firefighting training and certifications. Shortly thereafter, in spite of my young age, I was commended for leadership and became the first Paramedic within Pasco County Fire Rescue to be appointed an officer within the Fire Service. While an undergrad in college, I decided to go to law school, which I did after working 7 years at the Fire Service. Upon returning from law school, I decided that I would focus on personal injury law, as my experience as a paramedic/firefighter provided a great deal of benefit to me in analyzing my client’s injuries. I now have over 17 years of experience as an attorney. During that time, I have litigated a wide variety of personal injury claims, including countless automobile accidents, injuries from defective products, injuries from a premises hazard, and more. Although many cases wind-up settling without the need of a lawsuit, should the insurance company not offer a fair settlement in your case, you can have confidence knowing that I have tried many cases through to a jury verdict.
