Max L. Rosenberg works to assist clients in financial distress and those being harassed by collection agencies. He represents clients in all phases of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Beyond his concentration on bankruptcy he also focuses his practice in assisting consumers with violations of the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act and has extensive experience with divorce mediation, criminal, corporate, and civil litigation, foreclosure defense, and workers compensation. While practicing in New York, Attorney Rosenberg mediated disputes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and enjoyed arguing in every Borough in New York City as well as Long Island. Attorney Rosenberg was also an instructor at the John Jay College School of Criminal Justice. Attorney Rosenberg earned his Masters Degrees in Sociology and Religion from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary focusing his studies on Liturgiology. He is a graduate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is currently the United States corporate counsel for the British Belt Company, a number of co-ops and common interest housing associations, the Bridgeport WPCA, and Park City Apartments. In November of 2018, Max L. Rosenberg was elected the Judge of Stratford, Connecticut’s Probate Court.
