Jolein Anne Harro

Jolein was born in Macomb, Illinois and was raised in Iowa and Missouri. She graduated Summa Cum Laude fromTruman State University (formally known as Northeast Missouri State University) where she graduated with a BA in English and a minor in History. During her time at Truman State University, Jolein also studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany. In 1987, Jolein graduated with a law degree from the University of Colorado and after her graduation, worked at two general practice law firms. In 1990, believing that law should be more personalized and less costly, Jolein opened her own law firm which specializes in family law. Jolein is happily married to her husband Gary, and has two children, Mark and Jacquie from a previous marriage. Jolein is a member of Abiding Hope Lutheran Church in Littleton, and her interests include hiking with her three dogs, riding horses, tennis, scuba diving, and traveling. Jolein has served as a substitute judge for the municipal courts of Central City and Nederland. She has also hosted a bi-weekly radio show on Castle Rock Radio called Family Law at Five with Jolein and Kevin. In addition, she is a monthly columnist for the Yampa Valley Voice. Jolein is fluent in German and also speaks some French. Jolein has extensive experience in handling high asset divorces and property settlements in and around Routt and Moffat counties as well as the Denver metro area. Her vast experience in all aspects of family law, including custody, child support and maintenance modification and grandparents rights (just to name a few) allows her to give her clients the best possible service to achieve their desired outcome.
