Kurtis Kooiman

Kurtis Kooiman has over 2 decades of real estate and lending experience. Having started his career in lending in 1996, he grew to become an experienced real estate investor himself and in order to further serve his clients got “Certified” as a Financial Coach under Dave Ramsey of Financial Peace University, a well known international financial guru specializing in debt management and wealth accumulation. Kurtis has focused his career on using real estate as a primary tool for building overall financial health at any age. He has always tailored his advice based on someone’s overall financial situation (age, risk, goals, etc.). Kurtis says, “A piece of real estate is usually one’s largest investment. It’s important that buyers and sellers of real estate work with an agent who has experience in many arena’s of real estate, not just sales. Not only can I help someone buy and sell a home but, I can guide them on what to do with their proceeds when they do buy and sell. I can advise on intelligent down payment decisions for buyers and I can advise on intelligent investment decisions with sellers. I can also make sure that they are getting the best financing given my 23 years of lending experience.”Kurtis made the switch to representing buyers and sellers of real estate after a 23 year career in mortgage lending had ran its course. “After being in the mortgage business for so long, I needed to pursue something new and real estate has always been my passion.
