Lem Carlos

Attorney Lemuel A. Carlos graduated magna cum laude in 1989 from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. with a degree in Foreign Service. Mr. Carlos attended Law School at Boalt Hall at the University of California Berkeley and graduated with a juris doctor (JD) degree in 1993. While at Berkeley he was a clerk with the Asian Law Caucus where he was first exposed to the practice of immigration law. The son of immigrants who first immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 1970, Mr. Carlos is intimately familiar with the immigrant experience and is a pillar of the Filipino American community in Arizona. He is one of the few Filipino attorneys practicing in Arizona and speaks Filipino fluently.
