As the middle child in a family of nine children, Brian learned the value of negotiation and compromise early in life. Today, he is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Sections on Litigation, Business Law, and Bankruptcy, as well as the Professional Chapter of the J. Reuben Law Clerk Society and the Arizona Consumer Bankruptcy Counsel. Brian attended Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2009. From there, he enrolled in the Phoenix School of Law, obtaining his J.D. in 2011. While in law school, Brian received certification in mediation training and became a flagship member of the American Indian Law Clinic. Brian embraced the many organizations and volunteer opportunities available to law students, including: • Serving on the Executive Board of the Phoenix School of Law Student Bar Association • Volunteering at the Phoenix School of Law High School Law Day • Volunteering for the Phoenix School of Law Day of Service • Wills for Heroes with the State Bar of Arizona • Volunteer Lawyers Program Friends of the Bankruptcy Court Brian’s commitment to volunteering his legal expertise continues today at organizations such as the Volunteer Lawyers Program Debt Clinic. Between high school and college, Brian served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, completing his mission in Montreal, Quebec. He not only became fluent in French during his mission, he found greater strength and support in his faith and developed a love of volunteering that continues today with organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Brian married Bethany, a wonderful woman whose incredible strength supports him in all he does. Together, they have four beautiful children. The family enjoys spending time together camping, playing basketball and water sports, and watching movies. A particular favorite is game night with family and friends. When he has time, Brian also enjoys woodworking. Associations:
