Tim Reed was born in southeast Arkansas and did a lot of growing up in the delta. Before concluding grade school, he moved to central Arkansas and has lived there since. An avid musician, Tim attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, where he majored in music with an emphasis on guitar and graduated magna cum laude. Tim played guitar professionally for many years, continues to play, and is regarded by his peers as one of the best guitarists in Arkansas.
