Anne R. Moses received her B. A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, New York; and Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York and Alabama. Anne is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and former Chair of the Elder Law Services Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association. She also has received her Mediation Certification from the Alabama State Bar and serves on the Board of the SOS Foundation. She has been voted as one of the Best Lawyers in America by Consumer GuideSM and is Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham; and a co-founder of the Elder Law Services Committee of both the Birmingham Bar Association and the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar of which she is secretary. Anne was co-Chair of the Outreach Committee of the Planned Giving Council (“Leave A Legacyâ€); and is a member of the American Bar Association Sections on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law, and Business Law. Anne is past Director of the Birmingham Bar Foundation, past President of the Birmingham Bar Association Women Lawyer’s Section, Alabama Women in Business, past president and chairman of the board of Children’s Dance Foundation, and CDF Building Fund, Inc. She is a member of the Shelby County Bar Association and the Chamber of Commerce of Shelby County where she serves on the Health Services Work Group. She is certified as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Anne is co-author of A Wealth of Information, and is a frequent speaker on business matters, elder care planning and estate planning issues.
