Mr. Hopkins attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as Editor of the Denver Tax Law Journal, ranking member of the American Inns of Court, winning the AmJur awards in Taxation and Trial Advocacy. Mr. Hopkins graduated from law school in 1989, then obtained an advanced law degree in taxation (L.L.M.) in 1991 at the University of Denver. Mr. Hopkins is a member of the Tax Attorney Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Tax Court, US District Court, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Denver County Bar Association.
