Taras Rudnitsky has dedicated his entire legal career to representing consumers seeking justice under the law. His background as a consumer protection attorney, automotive engineer and expert witness has provided invaluable insight for consumers in cases throughout Florida and the United States. Taras has been a featured speaker before consumer justice attorneys, governmental investigators, and corporate executives. He has also been interviewed by several television station and newspaper reporters regarding consumer justice issues. This commitment to consumer justice started even before Taras graduated in the top 10% of his class at the University of Michigan Law School. Taras’s practice is devoted to consumer protection laws. He is dedicated to representing consumers in cases involving car dealer fraud, financing fraud, auto fraud, repossessions, warranty issues, deceptive practices, defending consumers in credit card lawsuits and other debt collection lawsuits, debt collector abuse and harassment, identity theft, home improvement scams, contract disputes, and many other types of consumer protection cases. Taras firmly believes all attorneys should contribute to their community. As a result of his commitment to his community, the Florida Supreme Court has repeatedly recognized Taras for Outstanding Pro Bono Service. In 2016, Taras was honored with the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the 18th Judicial Circuit in a ceremony held at the Florida Supreme Court. Taras serves on the Florida Bar Consumer Protection Law Committee and served on the Florida Bar Small Claims Rules Committee from 2011-2017. Taras has also served on the Board of Directors for two Legal Services organizations since 2011, including as President. He is also President of the Ukrainian American Bar Association, and is also active in numerous other legal associations. Taras helps train other attorneys throughout the United States on consumer protection litigation and advocacy.
