Shikha Parikh

Shikha Parikh is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Mrs. Parikh received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. After graduating from law school, Mrs. Parikh clerked for the Honorable Marjorie L. Clagett of the Circuit Court for Calvert County, Maryland. She subsequently worked in general practice, and opened her own firm with the goal of assisting homeowners in foreclosure. She has significant experience in foreclosure prevention, and is an active volunteer with the Maryland Foreclosure Prevention Pro Bono Project. Although her specialty is foreclosure prevention, Mrs. Parikh has is also accomplished in the following areas of law: real estate litigation, other civil litigation, business transactions, bankruptcy, and immigration. Mrs. Parikh is a seasoned litigator, yet also possesses the unique skills to negotiate settlements. Mrs. Parikh also teaches civil rights courses at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Mrs. Parikh has been a speaker at the Maryland Solo and Small Firm Conference and has presented trainings on foreclosure prevention law.
