Maegan L. Hurley, Esquire, is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Attorney Hurley is a graduate of Simmons College and Suffolk University Law School, where she received Pro Bono Honors. Attorney Hurley has experience helping lower income individuals through her work as a student attorney at Suffolk Law’s Housing Clinic and as a coordinator for “No One Leaves”, which is a grassroots resource that offers legal information and resources to families facing post-foreclosure eviction. She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, American Bankruptcy Institute and the Boston Bar Association. Prior to her becoming an attorney she had the privilege to work for United States Senator Ted Kennedy. Attorney Hurley is proud to work for the non-profit, Massachusetts Debt Relief Foundation, providing 100% pro bono representation in chapter 7 bankruptcy to individuals throughout Massachusetts. MDRF’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people who are unduly burdened with excessive debt by providing compassionate and effective pro bono legal representation in order to eliminate debt and restore peace of mind.
