DKJ Group, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Darwin K. Johnson, CEO & Managing Principal, to assist with receiverships, run-off management, corporate, probate estate, real estate, and family business wind-down and conservation. I am a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist and Court Appointed Receiver, with a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas specializing in troubled asset management. A Receiver is a court-appointed third party who is charged with preserving and protecting real estate and business assets. In business disputes, probate matters, loan default situations, and family law disputes, suspicion and distrust are frequently at the root of the issue. In these types of matters, Receivership appointments are arguably the most effective ways for parties to control revenue and expenses, secure accurate and comprehensive financial information, attain clarity regarding valuation, stabilize operations and achieve resolution—whether for business, investor, familial, marital or estate assets.
