Rick is a Bay Area Native, and as a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1986, Rick’s experience has allowed him to help hundreds of clients buy, sell and exchange property successfully here in the Greater Bay Area. In addition, Rick is uniquely qualified to help people with Trust and Probate sales, distressed property, and 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. He also handles all of his clients’ Property Management needs through RCS Property Management.
Rick is involved in organized Real Estate on the Local and State and National level which gives him additional expertise and access to information that other licensed agents may not have. Sitting on the Boards of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors (CAR) has added considerably to to his knowledge, which helps Rick serve his clients.
As an Ombudsman for CAR, Rick has negotiated dozens of cases that improve that improve his ability to help all of his clients. Sitting on the local and State Professional Standards Committee has strengthened Rick’s commitment to help improving the professionalism of Realtors and their adherence to the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics.
Specialties: Working with attorneys, Rick has helped a large number of families dealing with properties in Trust, Probate & Conservatorships. Being a Certified Probate Professional has allowed him to be there for many families with the expertise they must have when they need it most.
As a Property Manager and Real Estate Broker, working with investors and investment property is especially enjoyable for Rick.
Santa Clara County Association of Realtors
Rick is past President of the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors (2017). He has served on the Board of Directors since 2010, was on the Grievance Committee for 3 years, serving as chair for one year. In 2014 he chaired the Membership Committee and has also served on the Professional Standards Committee for 3 years.
California Association of Realtors
Rick has served as a CAR Director since 2011, currently serving as Vice Chair of Professional Development Forum. He has served on the followings Committees: Professional Standards, Home Ownership & Housing, MLS Computer & Business Technology and the Realtor Risk Management & Consumer Protection Forum. Rick has also been an Ombudsman for CAR since 2012. Rick is also certified in “Mediating the Litigated Case” through Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.

Rick has been managing property for over 30 years. A professionally managed property typically offers the owner more net income, none of the headaches and far less work.
