Greg Porter was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in Middletown and then successfully completed Ohio’s Firefighter Training Program. Afterwards, he found a call to serve his country and joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Fresh out of basic and combat training, Greg began his studies at the University of Cincinnati. In his second year of college, his studies were put on hold when he was called to serve a tour of duty in Iraq. Upon returning from active duty, he finished his Bachelor’s degree. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio. Greg also was admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal Court, Southern District of Ohio.
