Ms. Raenell Nagel
Ohio
Admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2012, Ms. Nagel has more than 20 years of relevant experience, including roles in a wide variety of non-profit organizations and government agencies. Committed to helping families through individualized estate planning, family law, and elder law services, particularly with respect to special needs trusts and charitable gifts, Raenell also serves the nonprofit and small business communities through expert and affordable legal services. In establishing a private practice, Nagel & Dougherty LLC, Ms. Nagel carefully chose her areas of focus in estate planning, elder law, and nonprofit and small business law to reflect both the knowledge she has gained from past experience and her personal values. Raenell has a particular interest in making the law accessible for people who have non-traditional estate planning needs – such as those planning for a family member with special needs, young professionals, single parent households, grandparents raising grandchildren, blended families, LGBT families, and more. Raenell received her Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law, with a concentration in environmental law. She also volunteers with a variety of nonprofit organizations working on education, animal welfare, and more.
