Sara E. Potts

Sara Potts focuses her practice in the areas of general and business litigation, business and corporate transactions, contract drafting, review and disputes, administrative law, nursing home litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and construction law. She also counsels clients regarding business practices and protection, corporate formation and liability, and employer/employee contractual relationships. Since graduating magna cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2014, Sara has extensively participated as associate counsel in several state and federal lawsuits, hearings, and administrative and agency proceedings. Prior to joining Doerner, Sara worked at a small, private litigation firm in Oklahoma City, taking lead on the majority of the motion practice and pre-trial litigation matters for a diverse client base. During law school, Sara served as Executive Editor for the Oklahoma City University Law Review. She also participated as a Student Member of the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court, received four CALI Awards for Excellence, and received the Dean’s Legal Ethics Award for Excellence. Before starting her legal career, Sara spent over ten years in hospitality services working for a large restaurant management company in Oklahoma City.
